About

Formed in 1997 by Jeff Worsley and Eugene Crowley, Eclipse Manufacturing Ltd is based in the industrial heart of Sheffield, on the edge of the UK’s scenic Peak District National Park.

From our dedicated facility, we work with customers in the UK, Europe and beyond, from many different sectors including aerospace and defence, retail, events, commercial and more.

Our people are the key to our continued success. Without their passion and expertise, we would not be the successful, innovative company we are today.

Our hardworking and enthusiastic team have a diverse skillset, from interpreting design briefs and joinery to exports and accounts. One thing they all share in common is a commitment to delivering the best possible service to our customers.

Our approach

All our projects begin with a blank page, and we love nothing more than working with our customers to transform that blank page into a stunning, high-end, fully-functioning product that delivers the results you need – whether that’s a full exhibition solution, an exciting, attention-grabbing, retail pop-up or an eye-catching interior.

Our expert CAD team is responsible for bringing your vision to life, using the latest AutoCAD and Solidworks software. We’ll often question and challenge your brief, to ensure you get the best possible result, or to help deliver the project within budget.

Once the design has been signed off, all elements are crafted by our highly skilled team using a unique blend of traditional techniques and modern methods. Every solution is completely bespoke – unique and hand-finished with care and attention to detail.

Future skills

As a company, we embrace new technologies and ways of working. At the same time, we’re proud to continue the traditional manufacturing methods used in Sheffield (and beyond) for centuries.

To ensure these skills are preserved and passed on to future generations, we have created in-house training programmes to help develop new talent. Our apprentices are trained in-house by our experienced team, ensuring the continuation of the traditional skills and new techniques we have developed and refined over the years.

Our commitment to sustainability

We are committed to reducing our impact on the environment wherever possible.

We engineer our products to have a long shelf life, and many elements of our exhibitions stands and interiors are removed and reused when they are no longer needed in their original location. Some elements, such as carpets and furniture, are donated to local schools and charities.

All our materials are sustainably sourced and FSC registered, so we always know their origin and whether (in the case of timber) they have been replaced/replanted. We separate and recycle our waste, and we have developed innovative ways to reuse certain waste products. For example, all the shavings we generate are compacted to create briquettes which power our furnace and heat the factory.
